Abstract
The purpose of the Alternative Control Technology (ACT) document is to provide technical information to address air emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) from organic process vents on waste management units treating organic-containing wastes that are exempted from the RCRA process vent air emission standards (40 CFR Parts 264 and 265, Subpart AA). The document contains technical information on air emission rates, control technologies, and environmental and cost impacts of alternative control technologies.
