| Abstract |
The Pollution Sources: Agriculture report is Appendix B-2 of the Areawide Waste Treatment and Water Quality Management Plan for Southern Illinois. The report was prepared under Section 208 of the Water Pollution Control Act, as amended. It addresses the problems of agriculture as a water pollution source in Southern Illinois, and makes recommendations to be implemented to address those problems. Erosion as it contributes to sedimentation and herbicide and pesticide contamination is addressed, as well as livestock and feedlot operations. |
