Abstract
During its April 9, 1998 meeting, the Environmental Economics Advisory Committee (EEAC) of the Science Advisory Board (SAB) received a briefing by representatives from EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) and the Office of Policy (OP) on the Agency's efforts to prepare a plan to guide its economics research. The SAB was asked to consider how the EEAC might help to ensure that the best possible plan could be prepared to guide EPA's economics research. This Advisory, consisting of brief member commentaries on the 31 topic areas proposed by EPA, is the result of those discussions. In addition, the Committee's informal ranking reflecting the value it associates with each research topic is included as Appendix A.
