| Abstract |
The report presents a generalized description of the geologic features in Kentucky with which engineers deal. The report also describes some of the engineering properties of the soils and rocks across the state. Part 1 deals solely with the geology and physiography; Part 2 presents a generalized description of the soils and rock which are encountered during construction; and Part 3 is a description of solutioning in Kentucky and some of the problems it can cause.
