Abstract |
The report describes the evaluation of a Schatz Heat Battery as a means of reducing cold start emissions from a vehicle fueled alternately with indolene clear and M85 high methanol blend fuels. The evaluation was conducted at both 20 and 75 F ambient temperature. The report includes a description of the Schatz Heat Battery, the test vehicle, test facilities, test procedures and a discussion of the test results. |
