Abstract
The document deals with cadmium and cadmium compounds; however, the majority of the information contained in this document concerns cadmium. Sources of cadmium emissions evaluated in this document include: (1) cadmium production and uses processes; (2) emissions from combustion sources; (3) production of other nonferrous metals where cadmium emissions result as inadvertent byproducts of the process; (4) production processes for selected materials other than nonferrous metals; and (5) mobile sources. Data presented in this document are total cadmium emissions and do not differentiate the metallic and ionic forms of cadmium.
