Abstract
MOBILE2 is an integrated set of FORTRAN routines for use in the analysis of the air pollution impact of highway mobile sources. MOBILE2 can be utilized in a wide variety of air pollution planning functions. MOBILE2 is an undate of its predecessor MOBILE1. MOBILE2 calculates emission factors for three emissions (HC, CO, and NOx) and eight vehicle types in three regions of the country. Further, MOBILE2 calculates emission estimates for various ambient, usage, and locality dependent conditions such as temperature, speed, mileage accumulation distributions, vehicle miles travelled distributions, etc.
