| Abstract | This report describes the methods and results of a program to assess the emissions of oil and gas wells. The impact of the emissions was determined through a combination of source testing for fugitive emissions, ambient air quality monitoring, and meteorological monitoring. Fugitive emissions were detected that ranged from minute leaks to jet-type leaks. Ambient monitoring measured periodically high levels of hydrogen sulfide and hydrocarbons at the oil field. Emission rates and emission factors were determined for each of the wells sampled. (Portions of this document are not fully legible) |
