| Abstract |
The Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) was established under a mandate in the 1987 amendments to the Clean Water Act. Under the program, EPA has provided grants to all 50 states and Puerto Rico to capatalize state loan funds to provide independent and permanent source of low-cost financing. This fact sheet provides an introduction to the program and presents information on the benefits of the SRF Program over other forms of funding for water quality projects. |
