The purpose of the study was to estimate the water requirements for municipal and industrial and water quality control purposes in the Edwards Underground Reservoir area of Texas and the surrounding study area to the year 2075. Estimates are also made of the value of benefits attributable to the Federal reservoir projects which will provide storage of water for these purposes. In addition to determining requirements, an area-wide plan for supplying these needs is developed, which provides for orderly and efficient utilization of potential water resources within the area, and gives full recognition to all permits, commitments, and agreements executed by local interests.
