Abstract
Standards of performance for the control of particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides emissions from electric utility steam generating units have been adopted under the authority of section 111 of the Clean Air Act. These standards apply only to electric utility steam generating units capable of combusting more than 73 megawatts (250 million Btu/hr) heat input of fossil fuel and for which construction or modification began after September 18, 1978. This document contains background information, public comments, additional data collected since proposal, and EIS.
