| Abstract |
This report was prepared as a preliminary step in the development of a comprehensive program for the protection of waters in the Upper Arkansas River Basin. It is based on data that are readily available but are incomplete. Consideration is given to: historical background; economic development; uses of water resources; pollution contributed to water resources; damages to water resources from pollution; pollution prevenation and abatement benefits; and pollution prevention measures in effect and still required. |
