This report consists of a collection of studies on selected aspects of the problem of regional solid waste management planning. The research efforts fall into three main subject areas: The economics of solid waste generation recycling, and disposal; the economic and social effects of landfills; and the issues involved in local intergovernmental cooperation for regional solid waste management.
