| Abstract |
The purpose of this explanation of Significant Difference (ESD) is to explain a modification to the remedy selected in the Record of Decision (ROD) dated 12 July 1996 for the American Cyanamid site located in Bridgewater Township, Somerset County, New Jersey. Recycling of the iron oxide material in Impoundments 15 and 16 was evaluated as a remedial alternative in the July 1996 ROD. The responsible party, American Home Products Corporation (AHPC), has now identified a vendor which can recycle this iron oxide material. These circumstances gave rise to the need for this ESD. |
