The Human Activities Profile is composed of two human activity bases which identify the respondents' and their spouses' use of time in terms of their sequence of activities throughout the day, including each activity duration, location, and presence of human company, and background information on each respondent. In its entirety, the combined data base represents human activities for over 3500 individuals covering a sample of over 8000 person-days of activities. The data base for human activities has been stored in a computer. The computer program developed in the study allows six main types of analyses to be performed on any selected sample of respondents from these two data bases, and also provides a systematic means of integrating this unique data base on human activity so that it will be available for any additional analysis not covered in the study. The six types of analyses or output modules which can be performed on any specified sample to produce the desired tables are: (1) correlation of activity and location for any specified company situation; (2) analysis of time duration of activity for any specified location and company; (3) analysis of time duration with location for any specified activity and company; (4) analysis of time sequence and activity (time profile) for any specified location and company; (5) investigation of the relationship between primary and secondary activities for any specified location and company; and (6) analysis of activity sequence for any specified location and company.
