Abstract |
Modern cement plants use electrostatic precipitators almost exclusively for dust removal from rotary cement kilns and drying facilities for ground raw material. In contrast, in the purification of the spent air from cement grinding mills, it is a question of the most suitable dust removal procedure. The operator must then decide between fiber filters and electrostatic precipitators. The author reports on experiences with electrostatic precipitators in the removal of dust from the spent air of cement grinding mills. |
