| Abstract |
This report describes and presents the findings of studies of liquid wastes at two Great Lakes Steel Corporation plants. These plants are the Blast Furnace Division (coke plant and blast furnace) on Zug Island in Detroit, and the Ecorse Plant (converters and rolling mills) in Ecorse, Michigan. The purposes of the studies were to determine the effectiveness of certain water pollution control measures placed in operation in recent years and the possible need for additional control facilities. |
