Abstract
This method is for determination of the identity and concentration of Cryptosporidium (CAS Registry number 137259-50-8) in untreated and treated drinking water and in other waters by filtrations, immunomagnetic separation (IMS), and immunofluorescence assay microscopy (FA). Cryptosporidium may be confirmed using 4'6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) vital dye staining and differential interference contrast (D.I.C.) microscopy.
