Abstract
This report provides a brief explanation of the Environmental Protection Agency's long range program for control of sulfur oxides emissions from fossil fuel-fired electric power plants. It explains the need for control of sulfur oxides, the currently available measures for that control, and the basic strategy for application of those measures.
