| Abstract |
The project investigated public response to various levels of diesel exhaust odor. A mobile laboratory called the Sniffmobile was set up in various areas including shopping centers in the San Antonio area. Volunteers were presented with calibrated samples of diesel exhaust odor. Over 90% of the participants found levels of this odor as experienced from a city bus objectionable. (Author) |
