| Abstract |
The paper describes several operational problems in water quality management whose analyses result from the manipulation of the differential equations describing the time rates of change in the concentrations of qualitative attributes. Because the equations describe a dynamic linear communication system, an introduction to the analysis of such systems precedes description of the water quality management problems. |
