Cresol 110, Sample No. 84741, when applied undiluted to the intact skin of New Zealand albino rabbits for a period of four hours, was found to produce visible destruction and irreversible alterations in the tissues at the site of contact. As the term, Corrosive Substance, is defined in Title 8, Chapter 1, p. 174.240 CFR, the material was found to be a Corrosive Substance.
