Abstract
Two sets of aggregate national air quality monitoring costs are estimated. The first set projects the costs of implemeting the minimum federal air quality surveillance requirements. The second set projects costs of implementing the state-proposed networks. Analysis of portable and automated air quality monitoring stations indicate that telemetric stations are less costly than logging systems. An extensive table of costs for each state is included.
