| Abstract | This decision document presents the selected remedial action for the Sanford Gasification Plant Site, in Sanford, Seminole County, Florida, which was chosen in accordance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA), as amended by the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 (SARA), and to the extent practicable, the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP). This decision is based on the Administrative Record for the Sanford Gasification Plant Site. The State of Florida, as represented by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), has reviewed the reports which are included in the Administrative Record for the site. In accordance with 40 CFR 300.430, as the support agency, FDEP has provided EPA with input on those reports. |
