Abstract
This Record of Decision presents the selected remedy for the first operable unit for the Stanton Cleaners Area Groundwater Contamination Superfund Site (Site), located in the Town of North Hempstead, Nassau County, New York, which was chosen in accordance with the requirements of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980, as amended, (CERCLA) 42 U.S.C. Section 9601-9675, and, to the extent practicable, the National oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP), 40 CFR Part 300. The information supporting this remedial action decision, is contained in the Administrative Record for the Site. The Administrative Record index is attached.
