The increasing awareness and concern for the environmental problems facing us today is reflected in the ever growing number of organizations which direct their efforts toward the conservation and the improvement of the environment. This directory lists many of the organizations which can be contacted by individuals seeking information and advice. It is by no means complete. The majority of those included are national organizations, but many of them have state or local chapters. All are nonprofit.
