In the report, results of the 1995 exercises of the NIST/NOAA and NS&T/EPA EMAP Intercomparison Exercise Program for Organic Contaminants in the Marine Environment are described in which selected polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) congeners, chlorinated pesticides, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) were determined in Fish Homogenate III and Marine Sediment V exercise materials. The analytical methods used by each participating laboratory in this performance-based program are summarized.
