Abstract
The principal measure of a water project's social worth has been its contribution to national economic efficiency, measured by a benefit-cost ratio. As seen as a result, the benefit-cost ratio represents more than economic efficiency, but it has no formal mechanism for analysis or evaluation. Other possible evaluations would be on regional development, environmental quality, and social well-being. As a result, the feasibility of multiple-objective project evaluation (MOE) is being investigated.
