| Abstract |
The purpose and objectives of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Automated Data Processing (ADP) planning activities are to obtain the most cost-effective computing/telecommunications resources to meet EPA's computing requirements for the 1981 through 1990 time period. Volumes I and II of this report presented the results of the Consolidated Systems Study in terms of data and discussions of current and projected workload growth for each EPA organization. The purpose of this volume is to provide the detailed information from which the first two volumes were generated. The presentation of the specific information in each section of this report is as follows: Section 2 - A comprehensive presentation of the study methodology and the projection methodology with a sample application of the projection methodology; Section 3 - A detailed presentation of all components of the current baseline workload; Section 4 - The planning factors generated as a result of the management interviews and complete long term projections by organization; Section 5 - A list of published material used to supplement the data collected. |
