| Abstract |
On September 20, 1994, the Environmental Protection Agency proposed standards of performance for new municipal waste combustors (MWC's) and emission guidelines for existing MWC's under authority of section 129 of the Clean Air Act (ACT). The EPA received a total of 153 letters commenting on the proposed standards and guidelines. Significant changes to the proposed MWC standards and guidelines are summarized and responses to each are in this document. This summary of comments and responses serves as the basis for the revisions made to the standards and guidelines between proposal and promulgation. Additionally, a summary of the final standards is provided in table 1-1 of this document, and a summary of the final guidelines is provided in table 1-2 of this document. |
