Abstract |
As required by Section 108 of the Clean Air Act, this revised second edition compiles the best available information on N0x emissions; achievable control levels and alternative methods of prevention and control of N0x emissions; alternative fuels, processes, and operating methods which reduce N0x emissions; cost of N0x control methods, installation, and operation; and the energy requirements and environmental impacts of the N0x emission control technology. Each stationary source of N0x emissions is discussed along with the various control techniques and process modifications available to reduce N0x emissions. Various combinations of equipment process conditions and fuel types are identified and evaluated for N0x emission control. This revised second edition of Control Techniques for Nitrogen Oxides Emissions from Stationary Sources updates the second edition (PB-280 034) published in January 1978. |
