The study includes a thorough review of factors which affect mineral quality of streams; review of previous investigations of the mineral quality problem in the Colorado River Basin and other similar basins; a rigorous statistical analysis of existing mineral quality data; and extensive field studies to determine the location and magnitude of salinity sources throughout the Colorado River Basin. |
