Abstract
Salinity is one of the most serious water quality problems in the Colorado River Basin. As a part of its investigations of interstate pollution problems, the Colorado River Basin Water Quality Control Project (Project) has carried out activities since 1963 directed toward the salinity problem. The objectives of this appendix are to evaluate the net basinwide economic benefits associated with various degrees of control, and to investigate and evaluate feasible methods of controlling and minimizing salinity concentrations and loads in the river.
