| Abstract | The principal objective is to contribute to the knowledge on the mechanics of sand transport in the littoral zone. The main results indicate patterns and give some ideas about quantity of littoral drift parallel to shore as determined from experiments at Fernandina Beach, located on the northeastern coast of Florida. |
