Abstract | The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the key studies in the EPA document, Air Quality Criteria for Carbon Monoxide, and identify the critical elements to be considered in the possible revision of the primary carbon monoxide (CO) National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS). The paper also identifies critical factors that must be considered in selecting an adequate margin of safety for the CO air quality standard. |
