| Abstract |
Information is provided on the suitability of soils in Chaves County, New Mexico for irrigation. The acreage, general location, and relative capability of the soils for use in irrigated agriculture are given. The general soil map and a few detailed soil surveys provided the information for the classification for irrigation. The data were organized and presented on the basis of soil associations shown on the general soil map and the irrigation land classification map. (Author) |
