Abstract | The plant pesticide Cydia pomonella Granulosis Virus (CpGV) under the tradename ViroSoft CP(4) is isolated from ecozone 4 of Canada which encompasses the Great Lakes Region of the U.S. Techniques employed in the identification and characterization of CpGV included: SDS-PAGE, serology, restriction enzyme analysis of viral DNA, bioassays and host range. The physical/chemical properties assessment and human health assessment of the CpVG pesticide are discussed. |
