National emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP) are being proposed for the chromium electroplating and chromic acid anodizing industry under authority of Section 112(d) of the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990. This background information document provides technical information used in the development of the proposed chromium electroplating and chromic acid anodizing NESHAP. The document covers air emission controls for hard chromium electroplating industry. |
