| Abstract | The use of pesticides has become a routine practice in modern agriculture, but they represent a possible danger to the aquatic environment when present in even trace concentrations. Therefore, the monitoring of surface waters for pesticides is an essential part of the measurement of water quality. One laboratory has prepared a method for measuring chlorinated hydrocarbon pesticides which is discussed. |
