Abstract
Clinical signs indicative of neurotoxicity (i.e., ataxia, fasciculations, prostration, salivation, lacrimation, trmors, abnormal gait, sensitivity to touch, and/or dragging/splayed hind limbs) were discovered among survivors and decedents at 898 ppm (5 of 6 males; 6 of 6 females) and 1677 ppm (6 of 6 males; 6 of 6 females). these signs were noted beginning removal from the chamber and continued through day 12. No clinical signs of neurotoxicity were noted at 312 ppm in either sex. Dose related mortality occurred in this study (0/6 males and 0/6 females at 312 ppm; 4/6 males and 2/6 females at 898 ppm; and 5/6 males and 6/6 females at 1677 ppm). All deaths occurred by day 7 post-exposure.
