| Abstract |
The amendment to the Best Demonstrated and Available Technology (BDAT) Background Document for F001-F005 Spent Solvents presents the new data received by EPA and provides EPA's rationale for revising the treatment standard for methylene chloride in F001-F005 wastewaters from the pharmaceuticals manufacturing industry. Section 1.0 provides EPA's legal authority for revision of the treatment standard. Sections 2.0 through 4.0 describe the specific revisions to the November 7, 1986 BDAT Background Document for F001-F005 Spent Solvents. |
