Abstract
There is growing concern over water quality in the Central Valley of California, particularly in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Federal actions on both water quality standards and water project development are of major significance in future water management policy. The purpose of the study is to provide a better basis to make decisions with respect to Federal water development and water quality control plans, projects, and programs in the Central Valley in the immediate and short-term future, 1970-80.
