Abstract
An experimental manure slurry irrigation system was established at the University of Tennessee Knoxville Cherokee Dairy Farm to study the disposal of lot runoff. This investigation included a study of irrigation as a means to transport large quantities of manure slurry to land so that the slurry can be utilized by bacterial action and plants in the soil while minimizing air, ground, and water pollution.
