Abstract
The weight-of-evidence for dichlorophenylarsine is Group D under the EPA Guidelines for Carcinogen Risk Assessment. There are 'No Data' on the potential carcinogenicity for dichlorophenylarsine from either animal studies or from human studies. Organic arsenic compounds such as dichlorophenylarsine are considered to be chemically different from the inorganic arsenic compounds, and are, therefore, assessed for carcinogenicity separately from the inorganic compounds. Since there are no data implicating organic arsenic compounds, including dichlorophenylarsine, the carcinogenicity is indeterminant at this time. The lack of human data and the inadequate data from animal studies prevent the calculation of a potency factor (F), the assignment of a potency group and the assignment of a hazard ranking at this time.
