| Abstract |
The report is a compilation of the efforts ongoing in EPA to identify the nature and extent of the contamination of the nation's drinking water, to determine the possible health effects of exposure, and to develop the technically and economically feasible means of removing those contaminants of concern. It was prepared in response to the Section 1442(a)(9) of the Safe Drinking Water Act. It is accompanied by an Appendix which presents the technical details of many of the studies described more briefly in the report. |
