Abstract
This report represents the results of the economic impact analysis for the Canmaking subcategory of the Coil Coating industry which is noticed in the Federal Register on November 17, 1983. The report presents an industry profile, cost estimates for the options considered by the Agency, and the analyses of the projected plant or product line closures, price changes, unemployment and other effects. Using revised compliance costs for each plant, EPA performed a capital requirements analysis and a profitability analysis to determine the likelihood of potential closures.
