Abstract
A neutron activation laboratory with computer coupled equipment and procedures was established. The power of the methodology for Environmental Trace Material Analysis was demonstrated by analyzing various materials and included quality control interlaboratory comparisons. Samples ranged from sewage treatment plant sludges and marine sediments to fresh waters containing very low concentrations of molybdenum, and ores and fertilizers containing cadmium.
