Abstract |
Eleven test materials were evaluated for tolerance in pregnant rats to determine dose levels for a subsequent teratology screening study. Each compound was administered by oral intubation at three different dose levels (six inseminated females/dose level) from Days 6-15 of gestation. One group of six inseminated females received a corn oil vehicle and served as the control group. Criteria evaluated for compound effect were mortality, clinical signs, body weights, food consumption, water consump- tion, gross pathology, and ovarian and uterine data. |
