| Abstract |
Application of 0.1 ml of test material to the right eye of each of six New Zealand albino rabbits was corrosive to the rabbit eye. Continuous lavage with water for one minute after a 20 second application of the test material to the right eye of each of an additional three rabbits reduced the severity and duration of irritation and corneal damage in two of the three test animals. |
