Abstract
Subchronic oral toxicity was evaluated in groups of 20 male and 20 female Cox CD rats administered triethanolamine at dietary concentrations of 0, 250, 500, and 1000 mg/kg/day for 91 days. Mortality, urinalyses, and clinical biochemical findings were not reported. There were no significant differences between control and treated animals with respect to clinical observations, body weights, food consumption rates, hematological analyses, organ to body weight ratios, and gross necropsy and histopathological findings.
